Take a break from commercial holiday tinsel. Gather your family and join your friends and neighbors for some home-made fun at the Annual Christmas Sing-along at the Historic Green Street Church on Tuesday December 20th at 7:00pm.
Englewood’s first church building is restored and maintained by the Lemon Bay Historical Society, and is listed on the Sarasota County Register of Historic Buildings It will be all decked out for the holidays, providing a festive atmosphere and fantastic acoustics for group singing.
Englewood’s Little Band of Writers is a sub-group of the Suncoast Writers Guild. They will be leading the event for the 6th year, entertaining the crowd with familiar oldies and some new numbers written by members of the band.
“We welcome acoustic musicians to join us on stage,” said band leader Linda Lou Lewis.
Whether you’re just visiting Englewood or have lived here all your life, the Christmas Sing-along at the Historic Green Street Church will make you feel like you’ve come home for the holidays!
